The painting is inspired by two of my favorite contemporary artists... Peter Max and Anthony Hopkins. I love the loose / graphic, colorful styles of both artists and this painting was influenced by a pen and ink painting by Hopkins I saw in Maui ( loved it, but couldn't afford it, darn ). It's an acrylic landscape of a cornfield on Hwy N in Pleasant Springs.
